Blond Granulate CorkGranules is a thermal and acoustic insulation for filling walls, screeds, floors, roofs and attics.The granulate is also a completely natural leveler, without additives, for floating floors on new, existing floors, in wood or dovetailed metal sheet.

CorkGranules is a completely natural insulating and leveling granulate, produced simply by crushing the blond cork: there are no additives. It is characterized by excellent values of thermal insulation and breathability typical of natural cork, which reduce the formation of mold and moisture compared to traditional products; Another characteristic of cork is that of guaranteeing an excellent noise reduction, making it an ideal product for the realization of floors against impact on the inter-floor screeds.
The choice of application technology and the maintenance over time of the initial performance of the CorkGranules granulated screed represent the real challenge to be faced during the design analysis. The blond cork used meets precise characteristics:
• the extreme elasticity and stability, indispensable for enduring internal stresses triggered by the configuration of the layers that make up the flooring system;
• lightness, ensured by low density so as not to overload the structure;
• the acoustic insulation properties to dampen the noises of trampling or impact and of thermal insulation to limit the dispersions and rebalance the surface temperature of the floor with that of the air, which can be as little as 2°C;
• vapor permeability, thanks to which the humidity absorbed by the air (never more than ’8-10%) is constantly expelled leaving the product unaltered and avoiding thermal imbalance in the environment.
CorkGranules blonde cork granulates are ideal for the realization of floating insulating and ecological dry screeds: a solution which, in addition to guaranteeing the necessary thermo-acoustic insulation required by the new regulations and hygrometric regulation with healthy materials, also performs the primary functions of:
• absorb planarity errors with the possibility, if necessary, to bring the surface of the coating layer to the predetermined dimension;
• incorporate and protect the pipes of the electrical and sanitary subfloor systems, with adjustable thickness and suitable to form a laying surface;
• promote compression and flexion elasticity and distribute concentrated loads on the coating layer and transmitted to the supporting structure.
The installation is closely linked to the type of use of the material according to which it will be appropriate to adopt the most suitable application method.
